Order a Conformance Test Report (CTR)

Some things to note before placing a CTR order

• You will need the Pole Star Test Number or IMO to place a CTR order
• It is your responsibility to ensure that the information confirmed/provided is up-to-date and correct
• Some Flags may require the CTR to be placed through a Distributor
• The vessel will go through a Sanctions check using the IMO
• Additional information may be necessary depending on the flag

Italy
Before submitting your CTR order, you must upload the signed "Elementi di identificazione" document with emergency contact details for LRIT registration.

Fulcrum Flag Tests
Attach the specific Inmarsat Activation Form for validation. If discrepancies are found, update your details and resubmit.

How to order Conformance Test Report Certificates (CTR) through your account 

1. Log into your account 
2. Go to the LRIT drop-down menu on left-hand side panel, and select Certificates 
3. Top right of the LRIT Certificates Dashboard, click on + NEW CTR
4. On the Vessel Data page, enter the Pole Star Test Number or IMO into the box, select the relevant search option, and click Retrieve

If a test is found, the system will populate the most recent test data and check: 

• If a CTR has already been applied for or is in progress 
• If you are eligible to order a CTR based on the vessel's flag - For some flags the CTR must be ordered through a Distributor 
• The vessels IMO for sanctions. The Test Record Data Validation box will display "AWAITING SANCTION CHECK RESULT" whilst in progress

5. Check the information in all fields is up to date and correct, if any are not, please enter in the correct information. 

Note the below fields are locked, therefore changes cannot be made; 

a. Pole Star Test Number 

b. Last Test Date 

c. IMO d. Transceiver Type 

e. Transceiver Make 

f. Transceiver Model 

g. Transceiver Number (locked only for Iridium, for Sat-C this will be unlocked for changes) 

h. Transceiver Serial Number

6. Once you have verified the information, click Proceed at the bottom of the form. If the

button is greyed out check the Test Record Data Validation box on what is required.

7. The Certificate Preview page provides a preview of your CTR. The exact look of the CTR that Pole Star issues may differ from this, for example, it may contain a specific government flag logo. 

Most Pole Star CTR’s are digital, containing a QR code and digital signature as per the preview. These are sent via email, however if hard copies are issued, the CTR format will differ and will be sent by post. 

For XML files, you can continue and a payment will not be required.
